On Thursday 5th July, children from Acre Hall visited Trafford Hospital with our Artist in ?Residence DD Dewar to present their incredible artwork to be displayed in the Children and Adolescent ward.
Alongside Manchester’s Mayor Andy Burnham, BBC and Granada News Reporters, Radio broadcasts and a host of others, Acre Hall children joined in the celebrations taking place at The Hospital. They handed over their artworks to Sister Victoria Jackson and her dedicated team who were delighted and loved the work. The staff at Trafford General had baked cakes for our pupils to decorate and created certificates of appreciation for everyone. It was a fantastic day filled with celebration and appreciation for all the NHS has achieved. To be part of that was a privilege indeed and an amazing experience for the children.
